CEYHAN CUISINE: ENRICHED THROUGH MIGRATIONS

Ceyhan Cuisine is an example of the fact that cultural boundaries do not fit hand in hand with geographical ones, as well as sustainability with the food culture that has existed through the present day. Hailing from the past in ways still recognizable today by using different preparation methods, home cooking possesses a rich food culture through unique pastries made with wheat flour grown on the region of Çukurova and the tradition of kebabs preserved in the hands of past masters, handed down from father to son. At the source of this wealth are traces of numerous civilizations that the region harbored on its lands. But the main source of its wealth is its migrants.
